The meeting was attended by former chiefs of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. PM Modi discussed with these military officers in an intense circumstances after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. The meeting took place at a time when relations between India and Pakistan have become even more tense.

Former Military Heads' Insights on Pakistan's Hostile Actions Against India

The importance of this meeting of Prime Minister Modi also increases because these military officers have a deep experience of dealing with the crises with Pakistan. Pakistan has been continuously resorting to terrorism against India since the 1980s, and these military heads have faced Sikh terrorism to the ongoing Islamic terrorism in Kashmir.
